This home sits between Arcadia and Paradise Valley with a view of the Phoenix Mountains inspired the homeowners, with a love for Mid Century and vintage, to incorporate a Palm Springs aesthetic in their in-law guest suite. This bathroom was a complete remodel, we had everything taken down to the studs, had the existing half bath torn out, relocated the laundry, and had the contractors build a full bedroom and bathroom in the blank slate. Green Moroccan tile, shipped directly from it’s namesake country, and wallpaper with a vintage tropical feel was the foundation for the rest of the design. A pink vessel sink, fluted front vanity with quartzite remnant slab, and aged gold fixtures and finishes bring the regency-esque aesthetic to life. Swan details in the small vase and towel hooks add a touch of visual interest and playfulness. The complete guest suite feels like a vacation from a decade long past for their in-laws whenevery they stay – exactly what our client’s were going for.
